Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute is comprised of clinic-based practices across southwestern Idaho and eastern Oregon to include the following current locations: a free-standing Cancer Care Center in Caldwell, Idaho; Cancer Care Centers on Saint Alphonsus hospital campuses in Boise and Nampa, Idaho and Ontario and Baker City, Oregon; and a Saint Alphonsus Rural Cancer Care Clinic based on the campus of Walter Knox Memorial Hospital in Emmett, Idaho.
The Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute is accredited by the American College of Surgeons as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. The Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons (ACoS) granted the Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute the Outstanding Achievement Award in 2013; the Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute is among only 19% of the programs surveyed who achieved this prestigious distinction. Moreover, the program became Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI) certified in 2014.
The Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute also collaborates with the Michigan Cancer Research Consortium, a research cooperative group administered by our Trinity Health partner, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Through this affiliation, Saint Alphonsus is able to offer over 100 clinical trials to our patients.
