Established in 1926, Winter Haven Hospital is a 468-bed facility. Winter Haven Hospital is a part of BayCare Health System , a 15 not-for-profit hospital system. More than 350 board-certified and board-eligible physicians comprise the medical staff, covering specialties such as stroke, open heart, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, and emergency services.
