US Heart and Vascular is in search of a PRN Echo or Dual Sonographer to join our team at Fort Worth Heart in Fort Worth, TX.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs Echo, Bubble studies, Stress Echo studies and Vascular ultrasound examinations including Lower extremity arterials, venous including insufficiency/reflux scans, carotids and ABIs.
• Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.
• Obtains insurance precertification for testing as necessary.
• Performs test result abstracting to EMR as necessary.
• Duties, responsibilities and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
• May be required to move between locations as needed for PTO/vacation time for full-time staff. 

Qualifications:

• Two years of experience preferred but not required. 
• Credentialed in Adult Echocardiography (ARDMS or CCI) is required. 
• Registry in Echo and Vascular sonography is desired.
