* Job Title: Behavioral Health Clinician
Purpose: The Behavioral Health Clinician provides direct care to clients by providing assessments, group individual counseling, crisis intervention, advocacy, all necessary screenings, and support services to clients following the curriculum and specifications of Krossroads.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* To provide clinically valid therapeutic interventions to clients with Mental and Behavioral Health diagnoses, Substance Use, and Opioid Use Disorder (SUD, OUD) in an office setting, telehealth, and or teleconferencing settings.
* Must be able to provide individual therapeutic services at a rate of 32 billable hours a week.
* Must be able to navigate teleconferencing platforms
* Must have excellent digital literacy skills to navigate electronic health record system
* Must have effective communication skills
* Interface with legal referral sources for the Krossroads Justice-Involved Service (JIS) program
* Must be able to follow the "Comprehensive Recovery and Re-integration (CR2)" program for JIS referrals
* Must follow the agency "Full Circle Continuity of Care and Parallel Services Model."
* Work professionally with all staff, clients, and community resources and attend regular clinical staffing meetings.
* Follow agency policies and procedures.
* Create Treatment Plans and use therapeutic interventions and evidence-based models ie. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, DBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MCBT), as well as other modalities to provide direct service to all clients
* Clients and families served shall be provided with ethical, safe, therapeutic interventions relevant to their treatment plan.
* These goals shall aim at driving clinical outcomes, building on strengths, and focusing on family integration and involvement when applicable.
* Strive to focus on all aspects of the client's life including family systems, legal entities, social support, recovery-focused support, education, vocation, physical health, and well-being.
* Therapeutic services shall collaborate with relevant entities while focusing on the whole person whenever possible.
* Therapeutic services shall be provided in highly structured environments with specific clinical interventions to meet these goals.
* Participate in all clinical and agency-required training.
* Participate in employee progression plans (EPP)
* Maintain CEUs required for State of NM licensure.
* Maintain current licensure as required by state with N.M. Counseling Board
* Be proficient at digital documentation in the electronic health record system Advanced MD
* Complete documentation (case notes) on time (within 24 hours of providing service)
* Be responsive to directives from both the Executive Team and the Clinical Director
* Support teamwork with colleagues and be willing to be assigned clients to create caseload equity among colleagues
* Work proficiently with clients (guide and track client outcomes, progressively work towards improving client skills, improve ongoing clinical skills)
* Be physically able to carry out job duties necessary on a regularly
* Be available to work in the office assigned.

Qualifications:
Must hold a valid, up to date License in Social Work, Clinical Therapy, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
* Master's with minimum 3 years experience preferred. New Graduates considered.
* Master's with provisional licensure may be considered.
* Current licensure valid in N.M.
* Experience with mandated and marginalized populations.
* Training/Certificates in the evidenced-based curriculum used to treat substance use disorders are preferred.
* Experience with family and individual therapy, and SUD/OUD.
* Must provide proof of continuing education on relevant topics upon request.
* Must provide proof of training(s) upon request.
* Must provide proof of license renewal prior to the expiration date of the license.
Work Remotely: Will consider hybrid schedule, evenings and weekends to better meet the needs of clients.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
