Physical Therapist Assistant:
Busy Chiropractic / Medical office in need of a bright and cheerful, task oriented Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position and candidates must be available Monday - Friday 9am-7pm.
Duties include but are not limited to: Complete daily notes on time. Administer manual techniques, develop innovative exercise programming, increase patient strength or decrease or prevent deformity. Record prognosis, treatment, response and progress in patient's chart on our EMR system. Provide HEPs that patients can perform and keep compliance .
Applicants must have a basic knowledge of medical terminology, the ability to multi-task and perform as an effective member of a team in order to provide optimal patient care. Must have a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state in Florida. Must have graduated from an accredited physical therapy program. Ability to program exercise prescriptions accordingly to achieve treatment goals and desired physiological responses. Ability to perform a broad range of movements and exercises in order to properly teach patients. Exceptional patient therapy skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence. In addition, applicants must be able to prioritize, have effective communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
Prior chiropractic or medical office experience is a plus.
We will be conducting interviews in the near future.
Compensation: Base pay of $30.00/hr with performance compensation
