*Location:* Aldie, VA

We are currently seeking a skilled, energetic, and compassionate *Part-Time Periodontal Hygienist* to join our team in *Aldie*. The ideal candidate will play a key role in establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with our patients while delivering exceptional periodontal care and education.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Contribute a positive and energetic attitude to support a collaborative team culture.
* Build and maintain trusting relationships with patients through excellent communication and compassionate care.
* Verify and accurately document patient health histories at each visit.
* Educate patients on the importance of periodontal and overall oral health, including proper home care practices.
* Evaluate diagnostic x-rays to assist in treatment planning.
* Take and record patient vitals, including blood pressure readings.
* Administer Arestin and fluoride treatments as needed.
* Perform periodontal scaling and root planing procedures.
* Stay open to new treatment modalities and technologies in periodontal care.
* Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and OSHA safety standards to maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff.
*Qualifications:*
* Current RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) license in the state of Virginia.
* Minimum of 1-2 years experience in periodontal or general practice (preferred but not required).
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for patient-centered care.
* Proficiency in using dental software systems and digital x-ray equipment.
