*Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
* Take and document vital signs, medical imaging, and other necessary patient information accurately.
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify oral health issues and develop appropriate care plans.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation review.
* Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
* Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical coding practices relevant to the field.
* Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support in a busy clinic environment.
*Experience*
Candidates should have prior experience in a dental office or clinic setting, demonstrating proficiency in:
* Practiceworks or Dentrix software systems for managing patient records and appointments.
* Knowledge of general dentistry practices as well as pediatric care approach.
