* Conduct patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify potential issues.
* Administer vital signs and assist with medical imaging as needed.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures, providing chairside support during treatments.
* Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment.
* Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings.
*Basic qualifications*
* Proven experience in a dental office or clinic environment.
* Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft.
* Strong understanding of medical coding and documentation review processes.
*Preferred qualifications*
* Experience in pediatric dentistry, demonstrating the ability to engage with younger patients effectively.
* Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
* Proficiency in chairside assisting to support various dental procedures.
