We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and various imaging techniques. The Radiologic Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, often within urgent care or trauma settings, contributing to patient care in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center.
Requirements -
5+ years x-ray experience required, CT experience required
current registration with A.R.R.T BLS certified
Graduate of accredited or registered school of Radiologic Technology.
*Duties*
* Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and mammography as required.
* Ensure the proper use of imaging equipment while adhering to safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
* Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures performed.
* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
* Assist in the diagnostic evaluation by providing high-quality images for interpretation.
* Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in ongoing education.
*Skills*
* Proficient knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
* Experience with mammography, CT scans, nuclear medicine, and urgent care settings.
* Familiarity with aseptic techniques and safety protocols in a clinical environment.
* Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations effectively under pressure.
* Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
* Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is preferred.
