*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role offers an opportunity to work across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and swing bed environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy principles, patient care, and anatomy, with experience in various specialties such as orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and discharge planning. The position emphasizes providing high-quality care tailored to individual patient needs while collaborating closely with licensed physical therapists and healthcare professionals.
*Duties*
* Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing personalized care plans for patients across outpatient, inpatient, and home health settings.
* Provide therapeutic interventions including manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve patient mobility and function.
* Monitor patient progress and document treatment responses accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention, and recovery strategies to promote optimal outcomes.
* Support discharge planning by assessing patient needs and coordinating follow-up care or referrals as necessary.
* Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment while adhering to infection control protocols.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care delivery.
*Experience*
* Valid licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Colorado.
* Proven experience working in outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital units, skilled nursing facilities, or home health settings.
* Familiarity with physiotherapy techniques including orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care.
* Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and care plan development.
* Prior experience with discharge planning and working within care teams to facilitate patient recovery processes.

Pay: $27.44 - $35.35 per hour
