Roles and Responsibilities
The Physical Therapy Assistant will provide treatment under the direction of a Licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist in carrying out patient treatment programs, providing treatment that improves mobility, relieves pain, and prevents or lessens physical disabilities of patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Graduate of an approved program for Physical Therapy Assistants
* Current Georgia Physical Therapist Assistant licensure
* Current BLS certification for Healthcare providers
* Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
* Self-motivated and attentive to details
* Skill to work in a team oriented environment
* Computer skills; ability to use electronic medical record
* Must specialize or have extensive experience in back and spine therapy
