*Job Summary*

Memorial Community Health, Inc. in Aurora, NE is seeking to fill the position of Registered Nurse (RN) for our healthcare team at Memorial Hospital. This position would be for full-time, day shift for 12 hours. There is a rotation of every third weekend.

This position provides, and performs oversight, delegation and coordination of total nursing care with other health care providers. It also includes infection prevention duties. Emergency room experience is preferred but not required to apply.

*Job Duties:*

Develops and implements a facility-wide system for identifying, investigating, reporting and preventing the spread of healthcare-acquired infections among patients and staff of all ages.

Coordinates Employee Health Program

Coordinates Hamilton County Vaccination Program

Collects and interprets infection control related data.

Communicates infection prevention and control activities to administration, Infection Control Committee, and staff.

Performs emergency treatment as required in accordance within the RN scope of practice.

Promotes and ensures patient and staff safety in all aspects of responsibilities.

*Qualifications and Skills*

Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing

Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Nursing

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska

Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
