HomeTown Physical Therapy is a locally owned Physical Therapy practice serving Erath and Northern Hamilton county areas. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the outpatient orthopedic settings, with experience in aquatics and geriatrics. This role involves developing and implementing individualized care plans, conducting assessments, and providing high-quality patient care to help individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and needs.
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
* Provide hands-on therapy techniques, including trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive discharge planning for patients.
* Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for recovery.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
* Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
*Requirements*
* Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
* Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
* Experience in outpatient settings preferred; inpatient experience is a plus.
* Familiarity with pediatric and geriatric patient care is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
* Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
