*JOB SUMMARY*
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves delivering comprehensive patient care across various departments, including medical-surgical, critical care, emergency medicine, and specialty units. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring optimal health outcomes through expert assessment, compassionate support, and precise medical interventions.
*DUTIES *
* Plans and manages patient care according to each patient's needs.
* Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
* Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, allergies, and current meds and respiration.
* Provides routine care for patients.
* Observes patients' health.
* Reviews medical charts.
* Communicate with patients and their families.
* Performs standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler
* Prepares specimens for lab.
* Administers medications.
* Evaluates and documents intervention and patient response to treatment.
* Administers enemas douches, perineal care, Foley Cath care, colostomy care, and suppositories.
* Follows and adheres to isolation techniques and universal exposure control procedures for infection control.
* Assist patients with mobility, transferring to and from wheelchairs, stretcher, commode, or ambulatory status with or without crutch or walker assistance.
* Assist physicians in emergency care.
*EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION*
* Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
* Minimum of one (1) year experience in a hospital setting preferred.
*CERTIFICATES, LICENSURE, REGISTRATIONS*
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Kansas or a compact Registered Nurse licensure.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification approved by the American Heart Association upon hire or within the first 60 days of employment and must maintain a valid BLS certification throughout your employment.
* Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification approved by the American Heart Association upon hire or within the first year of employment and must maintain a valid ACLS certification throughout your employment.
* Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification approved by the American Heart Association upon hire or within the first year of employment and must maintain a valid ACLS certification throughout your employment.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
