Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Staff Pharmacist, where you will lead pharmacy operations with enthusiasm, precision, and a commitment to exceptional patient care. We are looking for an experienced pharmacist or a newly graduated pharmacist. Your expertise will help us deliver outstanding service in diverse settings, including hospital, LTC (Long-Term Care), and acute care environments.

*Responsibilities*

* Be involved with the rural community overall.
* Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory control, and staff supervision.
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, state and federal pharmacy laws, and accreditation standards.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement medication therapy plans tailored to patient needs.
* Utilize pharmacy software and EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation, prescription processing, and patient record management.
* Lead initiatives in immunizations administration, pain management protocols, and medical management strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
* Monitor inventory levels meticulously to prevent shortages or overstocking while managing procurement processes efficiently.
* Provide mentorship and training to pharmacy technicians and new staff to uphold high standards of patient service and clinical practice.

*Requirements*

* Valid pharmacist license in good standing with current registration.
* Demonstrated proficiency with pharmacy software systems and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
* Familiarity with inventory management practices within a healthcare setting.
* Ability to assess patients comprehensively for medication appropriateness and safety considerations.
* Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams; knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential.
* Established pharmacist or newly graduated pharmacist.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
