Job Details:
• Responsibilities:
o Work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals to provide care to neurological patients in an inpatient setting.
o Communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical conditions, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
o Respond quickly and accurately to changes of conditions.
o Perform treatments and interventions; conduct teaching and counseling of patients and families; and facilitate clinical research.
o Also requires basic computer skills; problem solving, willingness and ability to learn new skills and methods; ability to perform the range of duties in a variety of work settings.

Qualifications:
Master of Science in Nursing degree. Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN.
When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
Possess a specialty certificate by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), the Pediatric Certification Nursing Board (PCNB), or the National Certification Corporation (NCC).
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
