Clinical care will be provided at ECU Health’s Maynard Children’s Hospital and all community-based hospitals that provide newborn services within our system of care.

Maynard Children's Hospital, a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, is located on the campus of ECU Health Medical Center. The 206,499-square-foot facility includes a 72-bed NICU – the second largest in the state – a 12-bed PICU and 42 general/intermediate pediatric beds. It offers highly specialized services including pediatric and neonatal intensive care, a kids immunosuppressed specialty unit (KISU), specialty care nursery, ECMO, 24/7 children’s emergency department, acute dialysis and CRRT, radiology, rehabilitation, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery and craniofacial surgery.
