Nocturnist APP (NP/PA) - UNC Caldwell

Description

UNC Caldwell is the primary choice for health care in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 visits a year. UNC Health Medical Group provides the majority of primary care and select specialty care to our market from thirteen separate medical park locations throughout the county. Our 137-bed licensed acute care hospital is a member of the UNC Health System.

New Grad Advanced Practice Providers (Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner) with critical care, ED and other experience are welcome to apply. 

Position Details

• Work with a team of experienced and highly skilled physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners
• Focus on teamwork, work-life balance, and flexibility
• Standardized documentation and extensive resources to ensure maximal efficiency and support while minimizing unnecessary and time consuming duties
• Schedule: 12 hour shifts, 7 on 7 off rotation, 7p-7a along with a Nocturnist MD
• Opportunities for growth within the UNC Health System
• EMR - Epic
• In house specialty backup available from Cardiology, Nephrology, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, ENT, Pulmonology, Podiatry, Urology
• Open ICU with Tele intensivist ICU coverage at night. Procedures optional but not required (training available)
• Location- 321 Mulberry Street, SW, Lenoir, NC 28645
