Description

Aspirus Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Antigo team in a unique dual-role position supporting both Family Medicine and Occupational Health services.

Family Medicine Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
  • Deliver patient-centered care in a supportive clinic environment
  • Build and manage a patient panel quickly
  • Care for scheduled patients during clinic hours

Occupational Health Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational and business health services to employees and employers
  • Conduct pre-employment physicals and DOT physical examinations
  • Perform workers’ compensation evaluations
  • Diagnose and treat minor workplace injuries
  • Care for both scheduled and walk-in patients
  • Maintain DOT certification or obtain certification within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • DOT certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 90 days
  • Strong communication skills, flexibility, and collaboration
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care across multiple clinical settings

Aspirus Antigo Clinic shares an entrance with Aspirus Langlade Hospital for easy access.

In the event that additional specialty care is needed, several specialists visit this location and if a particular service is not available on site, our primary care providers have direct access to the additional resources of our comprehensive Aspirus Network of more than 250 top specialists in over 40 different specialties. 

Aspirus Langlade Hospital

Aspirus Langlade Hospital is a 23-bed critical access hospital serving a population of approximately 26,000 in and around Antigo, Wisconsin. At present, there are 32 active and 38 consulting medical staff members plus a well-trained staff of nurses, technicians and other medical and support personnel.  

The hospital admits 1,200 inpatients annually with 56,000 outpatient visits each year. There are more than 1,400 surgical procedures performed each year. Our Emergency Department has more than 1,100 patient visits each year.  The Urgent Care averages about 1,075 visists per month.  The hospital has performed above state and antional averages for rural hospitals and is extremely well-equipped diagnostically.  

The hospital holds The Joint Commission-National Quality Gold Seal Approval.
