Swedish Medical Group is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife in a new Midwifery practice at its Edmonds, Washington location. This team aims to eliminate health disparities and improve perinatal outcomes through independent, anti-racist, trauma-informed, evidence-based midwifery care. Swedish Medical Group has a long history of Midwifery practices at other sites—and is now expanding Midwifery to its Edmonds location. Ideal candidate is adaptable, mission-oriented, and can work independently.
The Lead Midwife works closely with the Medical Director of Midwifery to implement programmatic goals to grow and sustain the Edmonds Midwifery practice. Responsibilities include managing the hiring, onboarding, scheduling and mentorship of CNMs in the practice; Participating in program-specific and system-wide quality assurance and improvement programs; serving as a professional link between Midwifery and other Swedish practices and departments to facilitate interdisciplinary communication.
The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
