Step Into a Ready-Made Practice – Family Medicine APC Opportunity with Mercy Health

Mercy Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) to join our Walk-In Clinic in Defiance, Ohio. This is a well-supported, outpatient-based opportunity within a multi-specialty practice environment that offers both independence and collaboration.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced NP or PA with a background in family medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine preferred
  • Skilled in minor procedures and confident in caring for patients of all ages
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care

What You’ll Do

  • Provide care for common illnesses and minor injuries across the lifespan
  • Perform procedures including splinting, laceration repair (stitches/staples), incision & drainage, ear irrigation, and nasal packing
  • Treat walk-in patients of all ages (25% pediatric, 50% adult, 25% geriatric)
  • Collaborate with a team including CMAs, LPNs, RNs, a practice manager, and nearby specialists
  • Access on-site services including X-ray, lab, and outpatient surgical facilities

Schedule

  • Clinic hours: Monday–Friday 8 AM–8 PM, Saturday 9 AM–5 PM, Sunday 1 PM–5 PM
  • Flexible scheduling required, including rotating weekends
