OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Critical Care team in Columbus, OH. 

In this role, you will provide acute healthcare services for specialty health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

This position will practice in the ICU rotating between our three main campuses.

This is a part-time position, working a night shift / rotating schedule, 12-hour days.

What you need:

  • Education: Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field. Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
  • Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio
  • Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required. American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is preferred
  • BLS provider certification required
  • ACLS, NRP, EFM and PALs required for some departments
  • Holds a DEA license for controlled substances or ability to obtain as required
  • All qualifications above are subject to grandfathering by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years recent and relevant nursing experience preferred
  • Effective Communication Skills
