Hospitalist APP - Day Shift Full Time & Night Shift PRN

IES, Integrative Emergency Services, is hiring two experienced Full Time Day Shift  & two PRN Night Shift Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established group at St. Luke s Brazosport Hospital, less than an hour southwest of Houston.     

St. Luke s Brazosport Hospital is located on a beautiful, 25-acre campus in Lake Jackson, Texas. Offering state-of-the-art diagnostic and comprehensive treatment services, this hospital is home to a 154-bed patient tower, advanced cardiac care center, and full-service, multidisciplinary cancer center.

Positions:

• Day Shift - Full Time with Benefits 7on/7off Schedule
• Night Shift - PRN

Hospitalist Service

• Encounters per Day:  45-55 (including admissions)
 
• Admissions per Day:  10-12
 
• Staffing: 
  • Days:  2 Physicians & 2 APPs
   
  • Nights:  1 APP on site with 1 physician on call
 
• Shifts: 
  • Days: 8a - 8p
   
  • Nights:  6p - 6a
 
• Procedures:  Not required (ER physicians & Surgeon on staff to assist)
 
• Respond to Codes:  Yes   (ER physicians & Surgeon on staff to assist)
 
• EMR:  Meditech (version 6)
 
• Dictation:  Dragon

• Two-three years of post-grad Hospitalist experience
 
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Texas license (or eligible to obtain)
 
• DEA
 
• BLS & ACLS

• W2
• Day Shift: $155,904 annual salary & Annual 10% Quality Safety Performance Bonus $15,590
• PRN Night Shift: $1,080 per 12 hour shift
