Stroke Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About this role: 

As a Stroke Advanced Practice Provider (APP; nurse practitioner or physician assistant) at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

This role is for a full-time Stroke Clinic APP at Intermountain Medical Center, collaborating with a dedicated vascular neurologist who works full time in clinic. You will be part of the Intermountain Canyons Region Neurosciences Service Line, including other outpatient neurology physicians and APP’s, neuro-hospitalists, neuro critical care providers, and neuro and spine PM&R physicians and APP’s.

In this role you can anticipate:

• Practicing at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah; Level 1 Trauma facility
• Standard clinic hours (M-F, 9a-5:30p)
• No required night, holiday, or weekend call
• Managing your own patient panel, with support of physician
• Seeing new and follow-up stroke patients
• Relocation assistance provided if qualified

An ideal candidate will have neurology experience with high attention to detail.

What you’ll bring: 

• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program 
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one 
• BLS certification and DEA 
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
