About the Role
Mendota Health is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Director of Clinical Services to support our mobile wound care teams. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, this role plays a key part in mentoring APPs, fostering clinical excellence, and driving strategic priorities in a rapidly growing, tech-enabled healthcare environment.
You’ll build community, uphold our quality standards, and ensure our Advanced Practice Providers deliver high-quality care that transforms lives—across all our markets.
Leadership & Support
- Supervise and support APPs, Community Engagement Directors (CEDs), and Patient Access Representatives (PARs)
- Build a positive, collaborative, and accountable clinical culture
- Conduct regular 1:1s and performance evaluations with APPs
- Collaborate with operational leadership and Medical Director
Clinical Quality & Training
- Champion adherence to Mendota Health clinical standards
- Provide in-person and remote clinical training, including onboarding for new hires
- Monitor clinical documentation, conduct audits, and offer coaching
- Identify and address knowledge gaps and barriers to advanced treatment
Strategic Execution
- Lead or contribute to clinical meetings, case reviews, and cross-functional initiatives
- Help develop and enforce clinical policies and reporting metrics
- Participate in clinical duties up to 25% of the time
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Prepared (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA)
- Graduate of an accredited APP program
- Active, unrestricted NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA licensure/prescriptive authority (as needed)
- 3+ years clinical experience (wound care required)
- 3–5 years clinical leadership experience preferred
- Experience in a mobile/multisite or startup environment is a plus
