Job Description

The Providence Women’s Clinics at St. Vincent has an opening for a part-time, 0.2 FTE, Certified Nurse Midwife, Lead. The Lead will be responsible for performance management, oversight of hiring process, and training of the Certified Nurse Midwives. The Lead will also be responsible for supporting the Certified Nurse Midwives in their work collaborating with OB/GYNs, and OB Hospitalists, ensuring reasonably consistent workloads and job expectations across the specialty, communicating PWC and regional initiatives to the CNM workforce.

  • 0.2 FTE Administrative, in addition to clinical practice
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife
  • 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience preferred
  • Oversight of hiring, onboarding, and mentoring for Certified Nurse Midwives
  • Providing administrative and clinical leadership for Certified Nurse Midwives
  • Developing templates for schedules and call rotations
  • Participates in program marketing, quality management, education, and community outreach.
