Job Summary:
Methodist Healthcare, the leading provider of cardiovascular services in South Texas, is expanding and looking for a lead nurse practitioner or physician assistant to become part of our established and collaborative team in San Antonio, TX.
Job details:
- Manage and coordinate the healthcare of patients in collaboration with cardiologist
- Achieve thorough competency in all aspects of stress testing
- Document, maintain, and review patient records, charts, and other relevant information in the EMR system
- In collaboration with leadership, develop new programs to optimize clinical care and enable APP development

Qualified Candidates:
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of 5 years of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) clinical experience
- At least 3 years of leadership experience (5 years preferred) while maintaining an active patient care practice
- Eligible for a Texas license
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (DNP preferred) or Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related discipline
- Preferred experience in cardiology practice and cardiac inpatient care
- Preferred in large multisite practice management
- Preferred experience in managing advanced practice provider leadership or clinical practice management
