Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our surgical team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with surgeons and other medical staff to provide exceptional care in a modern surgical setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong clinical skills.
Salary Range:
$125,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience as a first assist in the operating room is a plus.
- Current NYS Physician Assistant license and certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of the surgeon.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.
- Inpatient rounding.
- Assist with patient discharge
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
