Job Title: Physician Assistant – OBGYN

About the Role
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Brenham is seeking a skilled and autonomous Physician Assistant – OBGYN to join our team. This is a primarily GYN-focused role with the opportunity to see some antepartum patients, endometrial biopsies, IUDs, Nexplanon, and I&Ds. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience and be comfortable working independently in a busy outpatient setting. This position offers a balanced work-life schedule with Monday through Friday hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM—no nights, weekends, or call required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care in the field of Gynecology, with occasional antepartum care

  • Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and follow-ups

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality patient care

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

  • Offer health education and counseling to patients as needed


Preferred Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in OBGYN, preferably with a focus on GYN and ultrasounds

  • Licensing: Must be a licensed Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of Texas

  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work autonomously

  • Work Environment: Outpatient care, with no call or weekend shifts

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • No Call / No Weekends
