Schedule: Full-time, Inpatient, 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
Setting: Single Site, In-Person Only

Position Summary:

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic and collaborative NeuroHospitalist team. This is a hospital-based position working a 7on/7off schedule that offers exposure to a wide spectrum of neurological conditions in an advanced clinical environment.

You will work alongside supervising physicians, residents, and multidisciplinary teams including NeuroICU, Neurosurgery, and the Stroke team. While a background in neuroscience ICU, stroke, or neurohospitalist care is preferred, we also welcome new graduates eager to pursue a career in inpatient neurology. The position offers hands-on learning, including the opportunity to train in procedures like lumbar punctures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level inpatient care for patients with complex neurological conditions

• Collaborate closely with physicians, residents, and specialty teams

• Participate in rounds, care planning, and patient management

• Perform or train in procedures such as lumbar punctures

• Contribute to clinical research, if interested

• Maintain consistent 7on/7off scheduling

QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION

• Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Physician Assistants (PA): Must have a PA license through the state of TX.
