Job Summary:
Excellent opportunity to launch and lead a new Certified Nurse Midwifery Practice at Henrico Doctors’ Hospital Forest Campus – The Women’s Hospital. This position will work collaboratively with OB/GYN attending physicians and nursing staff and lead a team of three additional Midwives.The ideal candidate will be passionate, personable and collaborative, with a commitment to providing exceptional care to patients and customer service to referring providers.Qualified Candidates:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife in a leadership capacity.
- Manage low risk obstetrical patients through the delivery to normal newborn care.
- Provides direct clinical services and managing obstetrical patients per orders, policies, procedures and protocols
- Provide coverage to treat women’s health concerns and preventive care patients in office setting
