Advanced Practice Provider (PA or APRN) – Oncology

Location: AdventHealth Medical Group | Orange City, Florida
Position Type: Full-Time | Inpatient & Outpatient Oncology


AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (PA or APRN) to join our expanding cancer care team in Orange City, Florida. About the Role:

  • Provide comprehensive care to oncology and hematology patients in both hospital and clinic settings

  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage ongoing care

  • Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and survivorship planning

  • Participate in tumor boards and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators

  • Support quality improvement, clinical documentation, and care optimization efforts


Ideal Candidate:

  • Prior experience in oncology, hematology, or internal medicine preferred

  • Strong interest in cancer care and patient education

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively

  • Compassionate, calm under pressure, and adaptable in a fast-paced clinical setting


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited PA or APRN (FNP/AGNP) program

  • Current board certification as PA-C or APRN

  • Active Florida medical license (or eligibility)

  • DEA license (or ability to obtain)

AdventHealth Fish Memorial

AdventHealth Fish Memorial began as Fish Memorial in 1952 in DeLand, Florida. In 1994, the hospital was renamed Volusia Medical Center and relocated to Orange City to serve the growing population of southwest Volusia County. In 1996, the Adventist Health System purchased Volusia Medical Center and in 1998, renamed the facility Florida Hospital Fish Memorial to honor the hospital’s benefactor, Judge Bert Fish. In 2003, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial expanded and in 2007 Fish Imaging opened on the hospital campus. In 2015, Deltona Health Park opened as part of our continued promise to provide quality health care to the residents of Southwest Volusia County and Fish Imaging relocated to Deltona Health Park. In January 2019, the hospital was renamed to AdventHealth Fish Memorial
