Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Cardiology – Brighton, CO

About this role:

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Cardiology Clinic at Platte Valley Hospital. The selected candidate will partner with 4 general and interventional cardiologists and 3 APPs to help deliver exceptional care to cardiology patients in both and inpatient and outpatient setting.

  • You would practice at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, CO
  • You would work Mon-Fri ~8am – 5pm  
  • Work with an experienced staff of general and interventional cardiologists
  • Inpatient rounding and clinic work split about 50/50

What you’ll bring: 

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, required
  • Valid license/certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Colorado or able to obtain, required
  • DEA and full prescriptive authority, required
  • BLS and ACLS, required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP or PA working in an inpatient or outpatient cardiology setting, required
