If you are a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a passion for pediatrics, this could be a great role for you. 

Details:

• Conduct comprehensive physical exams, developmental screenings, and health assessments.

• Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses, infections, injuries, and chronic conditions.

• Provide routine wellness visits, vaccinations, and sports physicals.

• Educate patients and families on child growth, nutrition, safety, and preventative care.

• Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, nurses, and support staff for coordinated patient care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical practice guidelines.

• Current relevant certifications.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.

• EPIC EMR

• Rotating Call Schedule shared between a total of (currently) 10 providers within Pediatrics of Mechanicsville, Pediatrics of Richmond, and Lively Pediatrics.  Total on call days per month averages about 3-4 days.

• Equipment: EKG, hearing and vision screening machines, oxygen
