JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Provide comprehensive health care to patients in various states of health or illness in collaboration with one or more physicians, following established guidelines.

 

Work in a supportive office environment with a diverse team of clinical and administrative staff.

Communicate effectively with patients and collaborate with the Practice Supervisor, APP Lead, and Site Medical Director.

Focus on delivering high-quality patient care while fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

 

EDUCATION:

 

For NP:  Registered nurse who has successfully completed formal education program approved by the Vermont Board of Nursing, or state or national accrediting agency which prepares nurses to function in advanced nursing practice.  Must also be certified by national certifying agency recognized by the Vermont State Board of Nursing.

 

For PA: Graduate of an ARC-PA (or its predecessors) accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program. Bachelor’s Degree required, master’s degree preferred. Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) required. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the Vermont Board of Medical Practice.

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

Previous experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant required.

 

Current or eligible for a Vermont DEA license at the time of hire.

 

 

This is a bargaining union position.
