Job Description Summary
We are a rapidly expanding our Hospitalist team of physicians and advanced practice providers committed to clinical quality improvement and ensuring patients receive the highest quality care at an affordable cost.
We are looking for an experienced inpatient APP to join our South Market Hospitalist team at Utah Valley Hospital and Spanish Fork Hospital.
The Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be integral in managing hospitalized patients, concentrating on those in general medicine and ICU. In this role you will work with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, case managers, nurses, dietitians, and pharmacists to provide optimal patient care and outcomes.

Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are accountable for the provision of patient care at the top of licensure, within their scope of practice. Licensed, credentialed and privileged to perform such duties as:
Qualifications
· Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Utah
· Board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP), or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
· DEA Certificate II through V - DOJ Drug Enforcement Division
· ACLS and BLS certification for healthcare providers
· Minimum of 2 years of inpatient APP experience; hospitalist or critical care setting preferred.
· Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
· Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
