Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – PRN | Flexible Shifts | Florida-Based Role with Avel eCare

• PRN status
• 2 shifts per month (12 hours each)
• Schedule varies: days, nights, weekends, and rotating holidays
• Compensation Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Position Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and manage patients in EDs, inpatient units, and crisis stabilization settings
• Evaluate suicide/violence risk and recommend level of care
• Initiate direct admit orders when requested
• Participate in rounding and crisis response plan development
• Communicate with psychiatric facilities as needed
• Educate staff, patients, and families as part of care delivery
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to support quality standards and continuous improvement
• Uphold environmental safety protocols and practice policies

Requirements:
Education & Experience:

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program
• PMHNP program completion required (Master’s or Doctorate)

Licensure & Certification:

• Active Florida Nurse Practitioner license required
• Must reside in Florida
• Federal and State DEA license required
• APRN licensure in Avel-supported states required within 9 months of hire
• Completion of state-specific certifications as required
