Job Description

About this role:

As a Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Advanced Practice Provider; APP), you will primarily work in the Sleep Medicine Outpatient Clinic at McKay-Dee Hospital, a 324-bed level II trauma center. You will join a team of 4 APPs and 1 physician.

The Sleep Medicine team provides comprehensive treatment for common sleep disorders, such as: insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, irregular sleep wake cycles, movement disorders in sleep, snoring, parasomnias, restless leg syndrome, weight-loss management, etc.

In this role you can anticipate:

  • Practicing at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah
  • Working four 10-hour shifts per week (day off determined by manager)
  • No call expectation
  • Relocation assistance if relocating 50+ miles

An ideal candidate will have sleep APP experience and/or an APP background in psychiatry and CBT-I treatment.

What you’ll bring:

  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
  • Unrestricted Utah license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
  • BLS certification and DEA
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
