Senior Forensic Evaluator - Psychologist III

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 46B and Chapter 55 competency evaluations
  • Perform violence risk assessments under 46C
  • Coordinate forensic psychological activities and programs
  • Oversee competency restoration and trial competency evaluation
  • Supervise and train psychology trainees

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide consultation and training on forensic evaluations
  • Design and coordinate forensic activities
  • Offer specialized forensic psychological services
  • Provide recovery-focused care and support peer support concepts
  • Deliver expert testimony in legal proceedings

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution
  • Licensure as a Psychologist in Texas or reciprocity state
  • 1 year of supervised experience in psychological services
  • 1 year of experience in forensic evaluations and psychotherapy
