Full-time, ENT Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to join an established ENT practice at our beautiful Highlands and Bella Vista building. Hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (or until all patients are seen). Great team atmosphere that empowers you to seek better ways to deliver service and take ownership of outcomes in providing quality service and support.

At least 1+ years of previous experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an outpatient ENT office is preferred but not required.

Job Duties include:

• Providing comprehensive primary healthcare to adult patients, including ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests within the scope of practice
• Accurately performs a history and physical examinations
• Consults, co-manages, and refers patients as appropriate
• Prescribes medications as delegated in protocol and procedures
• Completes necessary documentation promptly
• Writes orders for medications, treatments, tests & IV fluids consistent with the scope of practice of the APRN/PA and the overseeing Physician
• Providing an assessment of the patient's medical, physical & psychological status
• Documents examination results & records progress notes and provides continuity of care.

Qualification:

• Education: Master’s in nursing or Maters in Physician Assistant Studies
• Board- Certified APRN or PA
• BLS and ACLS certification is required.
• Active, unrestricted FL license (or the ability to obtain FL license) is required
