About Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital
Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital is a critical access hospital serving Clinton and Lycoming counties. With a dedicated emergency department, inpatient services, and specialty care, we are committed to delivering exceptional care close to home.
Lycoming County, the largest in the state and one of the most rural, offers beautiful views in its parks and forests. Wildlife is bountiful and you may even see an
eagle or two. It is also home to the Little League World Series and The World of Little League Museum. The museum exhibits feature a rich mixture of authentic
Little League heritage, artifacts and images, cutting-edge interactives, and immersive media. All of this brings home the overall mission of Little League Baseball and Softball, which is to provide these sports to as many worldwide communities as possible.
Founded more than 100 years ago by Abigail Geisinger, the system now includes ten hospital campuses, a 550,000-member health plan, two research centers and the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. With nearly 24,000 employees and more than 1,700 employed physicians, Geisinger boosts its hometown economies in Pennsylvania by billions of dollars annually.
