Job Summary
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Stay current in the management in allergy immunology care through continuing education, research, and professional development.
- See patients of all ages for acute and chronic allergy conditions.
- Be compassionate, warmth, and patient focused.
- Gather patient health history and obtaining physical examination.
- Assisting physicians with patient examinations and treatment procedures.
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests such as skin tests, blood tests, and pulmonary function tests (spirometry, exhaled nitric oxide, and impulse oscillometry).
- Prescribing medications and immunotherapy under the supervision of the physician, as allowed by state regulations.
- Supervising immunotherapy injections and oral challenges.
- Providing education to patients about allergy triggers, management strategies, and medication use.
- Documenting patient visits and treatment plans in electronic medical records (Epic).
- Assisting with patient follow-ups and monitoring patient progress.
- Communicating with other healthcare providers regarding patient care.
- If interested, can participate in clinical trials.

QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
- EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
