OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (Boise) and the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) are seeking a dedicated full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with expertise in electrophysiology. Join our expanding Electrophysiology program, focused on providing exceptional care for patients with complex conditions. The role of this provider would be to become part of a team providing both inpatient and outpatient care to patients in partnership with three Electrophysiologists as part of an integrated cardiology group practice.

 

The Saint Alphonsus Heart Institute is an outstanding comprehensive cardiovascular program with many differentiating services including:

  • Advanced A-fib program with state-of-the-art Electrophysiology labs
  • ACC Platinum Accredited Chest Pain Center
  • Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center
  • Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery program
  • CVOR that operated on over 500 patients last year
  • Comprehensive Cardiovascular Research Program

 

Requirements: 

  • Licensed as an advanced practice professional and be certified as a Physician's Assistant (PA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or other Advanced Practice Professional in Idaho.
  • Meet the medical center’s customer service standards including interpersonal communication and professional conduct expectations.
  • Previous nursing and/or advanced practice provider experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, is strongly preferred. Comfort with ECGs and cardiac patients is a must. Comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills to facilitate capture of all pertinent patient and operational information necessary to achieve successful patient outcomes and organizational efficiencies
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, exceptional communication skills, and collaboration with Cardiologists, Oncologists, Radiologists, Pharmacists, echo-techs, and other members of the medical staff and administration. 
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to ensure patient and staff needs are addressed and documented in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and comfort with electronic health care records is required.
