Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider - Motility and Esophageal Disorders Program
Dartmouth Health's Section of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Lebanon, NH is searching for an APP to join our growing and dynamic group. The qualified individual will focus their clinical efforts on patients with motility and esophageal disorders. Our program evaluates and manages complex patients with esophageal and GI tract motility disorders including achalasia, eosinophilic esophagitis, refractory GERD, gastroparesis, irritable bowel syndrome, and constipation. Our collaborative care model focuses on education of the patient and their primary care team +/- local GI team to optimize care for the patient while still retaining them in their medical home. We endorse a multidisciplinary care model and our team includes GI behavioral health providers, GI dietitians, motility nursing staff and a patient navigator. We also have a close collaboration with pelvic floor experts including urogynecologists and pelvic floor physical therapists. Our new Center for Digestive Health is a collaboration between Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Weight and Wellness, and Digestive Surgery. This allows us to coordinate care for our patients across a broad spectrum as many of our patients ultimately benefit from the involvement of these specialists.
The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and enjoy working in a learning-team environment. Proficiency with EMR and the ability to practice well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team are essential. You will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to a broad range of patients with motility and esophageal disorders.
Although APP experience is preferred, our practice is willing to train and mentor the right candidate. D-H also offers Relocation and Student Loan Repayment if qualified.
