The University of Toledo Physicians is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) (Physician Assistant OR acute care certified Nurse Practitioner) to join the Department of Surgery, focusing on Trauma Surgery at the University of Toledo Medical Center, a reputable Level II Trauma Center. This role involves providing in-house call coverage for Trauma, Surgical ICU, General Surgery, and Vascular Surgery services.
The schedule includes night shift coverage (6:30 PM β 6:30 AM), and may involve weekends and holidays.

For Nurse Practitioners:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
Current Ohio Board of Nursing Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
National certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Acute Care Certification
Current BLS and ATLS certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
For Physician Assistants:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
Current Ohio Board of Medicine Licensure as a Physician Assistant
National certification as a Physician Assistant
Current BLS and ATLS certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Eligible to obtain and/or maintain Certificate to Prescribe and DEA licensure
