Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will be working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team within the UT Southwestern Pediatric Cardiology division, Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Care Team, at Children’s Health to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with a wide variety of congenital and acquired heart disease who are either being managed for heart failure, listed for cardiac transplantation, or are post cardiac transplantation. This position will require a high degree of critical thinking and clinical expertise in working with pediatric patients both inpatient and outpatient cardiology setting. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, consultation, health promotion and care coordination for patients and families.
Scheduled Hours: Mon – Fri, variable 8/10-hour shifts including holidays
