NP/PA Internal Medicine Opportunity in Washington, NC

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Internal Medicine-Washington, located in Washington, North Carolina, are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established outpatient practice. Experienced applicants are preferred. New graduates with healthcare backgrounds will be considered. 

Washington is a quaint waterfront community offering an excellent work life balance. Combined with eastern North Carolina’s mild climate and affordable cost of living, Washington is a great place for providers to call home. Washington is located 70 miles from the NC coast and 20 miles east of Greenville, NC.

• Employment by ECU Health Physicians 
• Outpatient primary care clinical responsibilities  
• Established practice that includes 4 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers 
• Schedule includes (4) 9-hour workdays- M/T/W/Fri 7:45am – 5:15pm 
• Longevity within the practice - providers and support staff 
• Excellent mentorship by seasoned providers 
• Call (phone only) 1:4 
• System-wide integrated EMP – EPIC 
• In-house lab, immediate care, and digital X-ray on-site 
• Support from 24/7Hospitalist Service at nearby ECU Health Beaufort Hospital  
• Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from the American Heart Association
