?Hartford HealthCare, the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Connecticut, has a new opportunity for an Endocrine Surgery Physician Assistant,?to join our growing team to provide intraoperative and floor coverage at Hospital of Central Connecticut New Britain, CT as well as outpatient evaluation of patients at the HOCC Cancer Center in Plainville, CT. 

Some highlights of this opportunity include: 

• The Physician Assistant provides care for endocrine surgery patients including initial evaluation of thyroid nodules, preparation of patients needing thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and postoperative care. Practice settings include intraoperative first assist, in-patient floor management including consultation and discharges, and out-patient visits in ambulatory practice setting. 
• A M-F days schedule - Opportunity to work four 10-hour shifts. 
• Attendance and expected engagement in Multidisciplinary Conferences.

Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA) is required.

Eligibility to be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA) is required.

Surgical PA experience is required.
