Schedule: Primarily Outpatient | Some Inpatient Consults Possible

Position Overview:
Baylor Scott & White Cardiology Consultants of Texas is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our leading cardiology team. This role is primarily outpatient-based across our Dallas and Waxahachie clinic locations, with some inpatient consultative coverage as needed. You’ll work alongside an established, collaborative team delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outpatient cardiology evaluations, follow-ups, and patient education
• Provide consultative services for inpatient cases in Dallas and Waxahachie, as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to develop and manage treatment plans
• Support continuity of care through electronic documentation (EPIC EMR)

Qualifications:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas (ACNP certification required)
• New graduates welcome to apply
• 1+ years of cardiology experience preferred
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills

• EXPERIENCE - More than 1 Year of Experience

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION 

• Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
