Renown Health, Northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit locally governed healthcare network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Trauma Department.

Minimum of 2 years’ Trauma / Critical Care experience and RNFA Certification is required for all Nurse Practitioners.

The Trauma APP will rotate through various Surgery units including GSU, Ortho, Trauma/Surgery seeing full lifespan - pediatrics to geriatrics, as well as rotate shifts as First Assist to the Trauma/ ACS Surgery teams. These are dedicated shifts on a 7 on / 7 off block schedule rotation.

Renown's providers foster the teaching of residents and medical students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.  Providers also have access to an established Research Department which provides support to coordinate clinical trials or take the opportunity to conduct research on the university campus.

Renown Regional is a state-of-the-art Level II Trauma Center 800 bed acute care facility with comprehensive and outpatient services and 24-hour emergency care and houses the Heart and Vascular institute
